BCECF Acetoxymethyl ester

BCECF Acetoxymethyl ester is a fluorescent indicator used to measure intracellular pH levels. It is converted to BCECF by intracellular esterases. Intracellular pH measurement involves ratio imaging, which determines the pH-dependent ratio between emission intensities when the dye is excited at 490 nm (detected at 535 nm) and at 440 nm.
