Calcein Red AM

Calcein Red AM is a cell-permeant, non-fluorescent viability probe that is hydrolyzed by intracellular esterases to a red-fluorescent dye (Ex/Em ~560/574 nm) retained in live cells. It is widely used for in vitro cytotoxicity assays, cell proliferation studies, and has applications in monitoring cell viability in both 2D and 3D culture models.
