Concanavalin A-thiol

Concanavalin A-FITC is a thiol-labeled form of Concanavalin A. It is a plant lectin that specifically binds to mannose/glucose and requires Ca2+ (calcium ion) and Mn2+ (manganese ion) for its activity. This compound can interact with the N- and O-glycosylated proteins of glycoproteins on head and neck cancer cells.
