CY5-SE (Cy5 NHS Ester) is a near-infrared fluorescent labeling reagent that covalently conjugates to primary amines in biomolecules. Its photostability requires storage protected from light, with excitation/emission maxima at 640/664 nm. It is widely applied for in vitro assays and in vivo imaging in cancer research, cell biology, and molecular diagnostics.
