CypHer 5 is a pH-sensitive cyanine dye with excitation/emission maxima at 644/664 nm, functioning as an environmental-sensitive fluorophore. It is widely used as a lysosomal pH sensor in live-cell imaging and intracellular trafficking studies, applicable for both in vitro and in vivo research.
