FAM azide, 6-isomer
FAM azide, 6-isomer (6-FAM azide), is a fluorescent dye and a click chemistry reagent characterized by its azide moiety. The azide group enables copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (CuAAc) with molecules containing alkyne groups. Additionally, it can undergo strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules that have DBCO or BCN groups.
