Fluorescamine (Ro 20-7234) is a non-fluorescent reagent that selectively forms fluorescent conjugates with primary amines. It is widely used for the sensitive detection and quantification of peptides, proteins, and amino acids in both in vitro assays and in vivo imaging studies.
