Flurpiridaz

Flurpiridaz is a positron emission tomography (PET) myocardial perfusion imaging agent. It binds with high affinity to mitochondrial complex I. In various animal models, Flurpiridaz exhibits high cardiac uptake and clearly delineates areas of perfusion defects. It is rapidly absorbed in myocardial tissue and is applicable in research related to coronary artery disease.
