Gadopenamide
Gadopenamide is a gadolinium (Gd) -based extracellular contrast agent used in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) . It is a chelate of gadolinium (Gd3+) with a ligand of DTPA-bis (methylamide) . Gadopenamide exhibits excellent systemic tolerance and has very low acute intravenous toxicity. It is utilized in MRI to enhance image clarity.
