HKSOX-1m hydrobromide is a green-fluorescent (Ex/Em=509/534 nm), mitochondria-targeted probe with high selectivity and sensitivity for superoxide anion (O2•−) over other reactive species. It is widely used for detecting mitochondrial oxidative stress in both live-cell imaging and in vivo research models.
