Luminol

Luminol, also known as the Diogenes reagent, is a chemiluminescent compound that produces a characteristic blue glow upon oxidation. It is widely employed as a sensitive detection reagent in forensic analysis, immunoassays, and for monitoring reactive oxygen species in both in vitro biochemical studies and in vivo imaging experiments.
