Lyso-laurdan
Lyso-laurdan, a derivative of Laurdan (Laurdan), is a fluorescent probe. It accumulates in lysosomes through a morpholino group, which, upon protonation in acidic compartments, converts to a cationic form and becomes trapped within lysosomes. This localization allows Lyso-laurdan to be utilized in the study of lysosomal membranes.
