Methyl red

Methyl red is an azo dye pH indicator, changing from red (pH 4.4) to yellow (pH 6.0) . It is commonly used in microbiology for the Methyl Red test and in various in vitro assays to visually monitor pH changes in biochemical and cell culture research.
