Rose-β-D-Gal

Rose-β-D-Gal is a fluorogenic substrate for β-galactosidase, yielding a pink/magenta chromogenic product upon enzymatic cleavage. It is widely used as a reporter in molecular and cellular biology for applications including senescence detection (SA-β-gal assay) in both in vitro and in vivo research models.
