Precipitating polyclonal sheep antiserum to guinea pig IgA, Fc specific. In precipitating techniques as immunoelectrophoresis and radial immunodiffusion to identify the presence of IgA in guinea pig serum or other body fluids or to determine its concentration. To prepare an immune adsorbent for the purification of guinea pig IgA from serum or plasma.

Highly purified normal IgA isolated from pooled swine serum. Freund’s complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Form
Delipidated, heat inactivated, lyophilized, stable whole antiserum. No preservative added. Total protein and IgG concentrations in the antiserum are comparable to those of pooled normal sheep serum. No foreign proteins added.
Storage Conditions
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
