TAMRA-PEG7-N3 is a TAMRA dye derivative containing seven PEG units. This compound features an Alkyne (N3) group that participates in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (CuAAC) . It also engages in strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups. Additionally, its Azide group can undergo CuAAC with Alkyne-bearing molecules and SPAAC with molecules that have DBCO or BCN groups.
