Z-Arg-Arg-4MβNA triacetate is a fluorogenic substrate specific for cathepsin B. Upon enzymatic cleavage, it releases the fluorescent product 4MβNA (λex 355 nm, λem 430 nm) . This substrate is widely used in vitro for measuring cathepsin B activity in cancer, inflammation, and lysosomal storage disorder research.
