ZnAF-2DA is a cell-permeable fluorescent probe for detecting Zn2+ ions, activated by intracellular esterases. It is widely used for imaging zinc dynamics in live-cell (in vitro) and tissue (in vivo) research, particularly in neuroscience and metallobiology studies.
