Isoamylase, Pseudomonas sp.
Isoamylase, from Pseudomonas sp. (EC 3.2.1.68), is an enzyme with the systematic name glycogen 6-α-D-glucanohydrolase. It catalyzes the hydrolysis of (1→6) -α-D-glucosidic linkages in glycogen, amylopectin, and their β-limit dextrins. Isoamylase is also effective in hydrolyzing amylopectin.
