5-Hydroxynoracronycine

5-Hydroxynoracronycine is a selective inhibitor targeting Leishmania parasites, HIV-1 protease, and nitric oxide (NO) production. It demonstrates an IC50 of 93.1 μmol/L against HIV-1 protease and an IC50 of 0.19 mg/mL in scavenging DPPH radicals. By inhibiting pathogen proliferation, enzyme activity, and the excessive production of inflammation-related NO, 5-Hydroxynoracronycine exhibits antileishmanial, anti-HIV, antioxidant, and antibacterial properties.
