Tylophorinicine
Tylophorinicine is an alkaloid compound with anti-leukemic and antifungal properties. It exhibits a minimum inhibitory concentration of 2-4 mg/mL against Candida TdnH strains and 0.6-2.5 mg/mL against TnnH strains. This phenanthroindolizidine alkaloid is extracted from [Tylophora asthmatica] and [Pergularia pallida], functioning through the inhibition of thymidylate synthase.
