Pulvic acid
Pulvic acid (Compound 3) is a butenolide and a secondary metabolite produced by microorganisms. It can be isolated from the marine-derived fungus Aspergillus terreus Gwq-48. Pulvic acid exhibits significant antiviral activity, with an IC50 of 29.1 μg/mL against the influenza A H1N1 virus, and is applicable in influenza virus infection research.
