Panowamycin A
Panowamycin A is an isochromane compound produced by Streptomyces sp. K07-0010. It exhibits antitrypanosomal activity against Trypanosoma brucei brucei strain GUTat 3.1 with an IC50 of 0.40 μg/mL. Additionally, it shows weak cytotoxicity towards human embryonic lung fibroblasts MRC-5 with an IC50 of 2.95 μg/mL. Panowamycin A is applicable in antitrypanosomal research.
