Neoaspergillic acid
Neoaspergillic acid (NSC 356436) (Compound 2) is a secondary metabolite produced by microorganisms. It is isolated from the endophytic fungus Aspergillus sp. SPH2 and exhibits potent antifungal activity against Alternaria alternata, Botrytis cinerea, and Fusarium oxysporum. This compound appears during the exponential growth phase of fungi and also shows antitumor and antibacterial properties.
