Sclerotioramine
Sclerotioramine (Compound 1) is a red pigment known for its antioxidant properties. It can be isolated from the endophytic fungus Penicillium strain 1322P. Sclerotioramine exhibits strong antibacterial activity, with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 3.125 μg/mL against Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus megaterium, and 6.25 μg/mL against Shigella dysentery. Additionally, Sclerotioramine shows significant antifungal activity against Pestalotiopsis theae, Cochliobolus miyabeanus, and Exserohilum turcicum.
