Phomopsin D is a mycotoxin and a derivative of Phomopsin A. Phomopsin A, a cyclic hexapeptide mycotoxin, is isolated from the fungus [Phomopsis leptostomiformis]. It acts as a non-competitive inhibitor of the binding of radiolabeled vinblastine to tubulin.
