Cassiatannin A is a tetrameric procyanidin identified in cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia) . It exhibits COX-2 inhibitory activity, with inhibition rates of 38%, 52%, and 97% at concentrations of 10, 100, and 1000 μg/mL, respectively. Cassiatannin A is applicable in inflammation research.
