Nor-MC3
Nor-MC3 is an ionizable cationic lipid utilized in creating liposomal lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for delivering mRNA both in vitro and in vivo, derived from DLin-MC3-DMA. Liposomal LNPs with a molar ratio of 20:40:40:1.5 for nor-MC3:egg sphingomyelin:cholesterol:DMG-PEG (2000) show higher transfection efficiencies compared to those with a molar ratio of 50:10:38.5:1.5. Additionally, these LNPs exhibit increased accumulation in the spleen, pancreas, heart, kidney, muscle, and inguinal lymph nodes in mice.
