Apazunersen
Apazunersen is an antisense oligonucleotide designed to target and inhibit the expression of UBE3A antisense transcript (UBE3A-AS) . This inhibition prevents the silencing of paternal alleles of the UBE3A gene, thereby reactivating the expression of the defective protein. It is utilized in the research of Angelman syndrome.
