Apoptosis inducer 57

Apoptosis inducer57 is an apoptosis inducer and a thymidylate synthase (TS) inhibitor with cytotoxicity IC50 values of 15.7 μM for SW480 cancer cells and 16.5 μM for MCF-7 cancer cells. It induces dose-dependent apoptosis and S-phase cell cycle arrest. TS-IN-9 stabilizes at the TS active site through interactions with Asp218 and Met311, and is useful for research on breast and colorectal cancers.
