PAV-174

PAV-174 is a potent antiviral agent targeting host proteins, capable of preventing HSV-1 infection in cell and human brain organoid models (with an IC50 of 0.02 μM in Vero cells) . It effectively inhibits tau protein phosphorylation induced by oxidized macrophage migration inhibitory factor (oxMIF) both in vitro and in vivo, independent of viral infection. PAV-174 reduces tau phosphorylation due to HSV-1 infection via the Akt/GSK3β signaling pathway and is applicable for research related to Alzheimer's disease.
