[Rh (cod) Cl]2
[Rh (cod) Cl]2 (Chloro (1,5-cyclooctadiene) rhodium (I) dimer) is a rhodium (I) organometallic dimer complex. It inhibits platelet aggregation induced by platelet activating factor, with IC50 values of 5.2 μM in washed rabbit platelets and 43.3 μM in human platelet-rich plasma. Additionally, [Rh (cod) Cl]2 can inhibit aggregation induced by thrombin, ADP, and collagen, with IC50 values of 16.7, 162, and 69.8 μM, respectively. This compound is applicable in cardiovascular disease research, such as that involving thrombosis.
