Betazole hydrochloride
Betazole hydrochloride (Ametazole hydrochloride) is a pyrazole-based histamine and an orally active H2 receptor agonist. It stimulates gastric acid secretion and significantly increases common bile duct pressure. Betazole hydrochloride is used as a diagnostic agent known as histalog to study gastric acid secretion capacity.
