Antimicrobial agent-45 (Compound 16) is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent. It exhibits minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) of 9.25 μM against Cr. neoformans, and 74.04 μM against S. aureus, MRSA, and My. intracellulare. This compound is useful for studying cryptococcal infections.
