5-HT2A&5-HT2C agonist-2 (Compound 3ci) is a highly selective dual 5-HT2A/5-HT2C agonist capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier, with an EC50 of less than 1 μM. It exhibits strong selectivity against the 5-HT2B receptor, which is associated with the risk of heart valve disease. Although it can induce head twitch responses, its hallucinogenic potential is low. 5-HT2A&5-HT2C agonist-2 is relevant for studying conditions such as depression and obesity.
