Amylin agonist 1 (Example 239a) is an agonist of amylin receptor 3 (AMY3R) with an EC50 of 6.17 nM for stimulating cellular cAMP production. It also acts as an agonist of the calcitonin receptor (CTR) with an EC50 of 8.58 nM. Amylin agonist 1 is applicable for research in type 2 diabetes and obesity.
