Atiprosine
Atiprosine (AY-28228) is an orally active and selective α1-adrenergic receptor antagonist with a pA2 value of 8.11. It also exhibits antagonist activity against α2-adrenergic receptors, 5-HT2 receptors, and H1 receptors, with pA2 values of 6.04, 6.87, and 7.32 respectively. Atiprosine is effective in reducing hypertension and lowering blood pressure in rats, dogs, and monkeys. It is utilized in cardiovascular and mental disorder research.
