Sumacetamol (SUR 2647) is the N-acetyl-DL-methionine ester of Paracetamol. This compound is effective when administered orally. In combination with Paracetamol, Sumacetamol enhances the capacity for GSH synthesis in the liver of Bom:NMRI mice, providing protective effects on hepatocyte integrity.
