OART

OART (Oxaliplatin-artesunate) is a ferroptosis inducer that significantly inhibits tumor cell proliferation. It promotes tumor ferroptosis by disrupting the glutathione-mediated ferroptosis defense system and enhancing the iron-dependent Fenton reaction, leading to lipid peroxidation in the cytoplasm and mitochondria. Additionally, OART increases tumor immunogenicity, transforming the tumor environment from immunosuppressive to immunosensitive. It exhibits strong tumor regression effects in tumor-bearing mouse models and can be utilized in cancer immunotherapy research.
