BTT-3034, a sulfonamide derivative, functions as an α2β1 integrin inhibitor. It effectively inhibits cell adhesion to rat tail collagen I, with an EC50 value of 160 nM and an Emax value of 86%. Additionally, BTT-3034 impedes collagen binding through the α2 variant carrying the conformation-activating E318W mutation.
