MLS-0322825 is a highly selective, orally active, low-molecular-weight protein tyrosine phosphatase (LMPTP/LMW-PTP) non-competitive inhibitor that exhibits potent inhibitory activity against the LMPTP-A subtype (IC50 = 3.3 μM) and weaker inhibitory activity against the LMPTP-B subtype (IC50 ≈ 40 μM) . MLS-0322825 effectively increases IR phosphorylation levels in the liver and reduces blood glucose and insulin levels in obese mice. MLS-0322825 exhibits potential antitumor activity and can be used in tumor research.
