Monosodium neridronate
Monosodium neridronate is an amino-containing bisphosphonate bone resorption inhibitor. Binding with high affinity to hydroxyapatite surfaces, it induces osteoclast apoptosis by strongly inhibiting farnesyl pyrophosphate synthase (FPPS) activity, demonstrating outstanding efficacy in models of osteogenesis imperfecta and Paget's disease.
