STARD3-IN-1
STARD3-IN-1 (Compound VS1) is a STARD3 inhibitor with an IC50 of 35 μM. Overexpressed in various cancers, STARD3 is involved in cholesterol transport. STARD3-IN-1 exhibits antiproliferative activity in breast and colon cancer cells, significantly impairing their clonogenicity. It increases the levels of FAK and pTyr397-FAK proteins. STARD3-IN-1 is useful in breast and colon cancer research.
