Antibacterial agent 312

Antibacterialagent 312 (Compound 8c) is a potent antibacterial agent that effectively disrupts the integrity of bacterial inner membranes, increasing membrane permeability. Its minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) against Vibrio parahaemolyticus and Vibrio alginolyticus are 6 and 16 μg/mL, respectively. Antibacterialagent 312 exhibits bactericidal activity against Vibrio parahaemolyticus and effectively inhibits biofilm formation. It demonstrates excellent biosafety, making it suitable for studying infections caused by the aquaculture pathogen Vibrio parahaemolyticus.
