Anti-MRSA agent 35

Anti-MRSA agent 35 (Compound 6b) is an agent effective against MRSA. It significantly inhibits the formation of MRSA biofilms, suppresses the expression of penicillin-binding protein (PBP2a), and induces mutations in the mecA virulence gene. This compound exhibits potent bactericidal and fungicidal activities, with MIC50 values against Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, and fungi ranging from 7.8 to 31.25 μg/mL.
