Silane-PEG-N3 (MW 3400)
Silane-PEG-N3 (MW 3400) (Silane-PEG-azide (MW 3400) ) is a PEG derivative composed of silane, PEG units, and an azide group. It can modify surfaces like glass, silicon, or others by reacting through hydroxyl with ethoxy (methoxy) silane. The azide group in Silane-PEG-N3 allows it to undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) with molecules containing alkyne groups. Additionally, it can participate in strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
