Silane-PEG-N3 (MW 2000)
Silane-PEG-N3 (MW 2000) (Silane-PEG-azide (MW 2000) ) is a PEG derivative composed of silane, PEG units, and an azide group. It is utilized to modify glass, silicon, or other surfaces through reactions between hydroxyl groups and ethoxy (methoxy) silane. The azide group in Silane-PEG-N3 (MW 2000) allows it to undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (CuAAc) with molecules containing alkyne groups. Additionally, it participates in strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
