Azide-PEG2-Desthiobiotin
Azide-PEG2-Desthiobiotin is a PEG derivative composed of desthiobiotin, two PEG units, and an azide group (azide) . Biotin forms a stable non-covalent bond with streptavidin (Streptavidin) . The azide group can participate in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (CuAAc) with alkyne-containing molecules. Additionally, it can engage in strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
