6-Arm-PEG-FA (MW 600) (6-Arm-PEG-Folate (MW 600) ) is a PEG derivative modified with folic acid. Polyethylene glycol enhances solubility and stability, decreases the immunogenicity of peptides and proteins, and inhibits nonspecific binding of charged molecules to modified surfaces. Folic acid (-FA) has a high affinity for folate receptors, making it suitable for targeted drug delivery to cell membrane receptors.
