MPEG-amine (MW 40000) (mPEG-NH2 (MW 40000) ) is a monofunctional polyethylene glycol with a terminal amine group. It forms stable amide bonds when coupled with NHS esters. Additionally, in the presence of an activator, the amine group can react with carboxyl groups.
